Old trade, new way.
MY JOURNEY GROWING UP IN A TATTOO SHOP TO TATTOOING FOR 18 YEARS NOW & OWNING A RAPIDLY  GROWING STUDIO OF MY OWN.TO FIGURING OUT WHAT HAD TO CHANGE WITH THE TIMES & WHAT SHOULD ALWAYS STAY THE SAME.
The first bit of my knowledge comes from other people who have done well in something I want to do. I use my dad, 20 years of tattooing, owning and running  a small old school studio very successfully. He knew how to make people feel comfortable and had no issues getting and keeping clients. He hasn't been able to tattoo in the last few years and people still ask him to.

Another thing I learned from him was that a person shouldn't tattoo 5 days a week all day long. The human body can't take it physically or mentally. I mean sometimes when I do a 8 hour session of Polynesian or some intense full color sleeve work, my BRAIN hurts! ..And my back, neck and hands do too...
So if you want any of theses below...
  •  A drama free tattoo studio full of artists always tattooing or piercing, everybody's happy.
  •  Get AND keep clients that pay MORE so you can WORK LESS.
  •  Change anything  in your life that is wasting your time. Get rid of it !! TIME IS MONEY!
  •  Make more money just by knowing how much you can actually write off as an owner or artist.
  •  Get your dream clients, that  get more done, and only want YOUR work!
  •  Get Loyal clients that understand value is more than money and pay you what you want.
  •  Balance... peace of mind for the future... I mean come on...

AS YOU CONTINUE...

Please do not go on from here if you are not open minded and want growth in your life and career. We are looking for those select few who want more. Those who know investing in knowledge is the first and one of the best investments you could ever make. You will be amazed at what simple things can be done, in your shop or even to your whole tattoo career for it to sky rocket, and feel good about all of it. The law of attraction is very real, so why not use it to our advantage.

As you move on, you will want to get really honest with yourself. Write down things you think of that could be a problem in your tattoo career and life. Remember, nurses know nurses, and only another tattoo artist is going to understand the real issues of our industry. Together we can do better, show the world who we really are!
